Mark Poulton, co-writer of the All Superheroes Must Die project which Gavin Smith is currently working on the art for, approached me about coloring over his pencils for a couple prints that'll be sold at his LCS.
I got really excited when he said they'd be homages to comic book covers. The first is a nod to Amazing Spider-Man #252, and the second is a nod to GI JOE #23!
